Base4NFDI is delighted to announce that Jupyter4NFDI has been accepted for funding for the Integration phase following the Consortia Assembly’s decision! 

Congratulations to the Basic Service team! 

Jupyter4NFDI aims to improve the fragmented use of Jupyter notebooks in the NFDI consortia by offering a centralised JupyterHub, making this a key infrastructure service to streamline and underpin open science practices. Integration with IAM4NFDI is planned for access management and the provision of access to HPC resources from GCS and the NHR Alliance. The service is already being used by some NFDI consortia. During the Integration phase, Jupyter4NFDI intends to further expand its offers and thus gain relevance for the majority of NFDI consortia.

With the continuation of Jupyter4NFDI, we are one step closer to facilitating an open science landscape, supporting robust high quality services in order to enable “OneNFDI”. Base4NFDI is looking forward to what's ahead of us and encourages the NFDI community to join this endeavour by actively participating in the NFDI sections!
